ANESTECH is a project of the Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV), supported by the Agencia Valenciana de la Innovación (AVI), which develops a remote pre-anaesthetic assessment methodology based on artificial intelligence. The system allows patients to record videos of their face and neck from their smartphone, which are then analysed using 3D reconstruction and AI algorithms to assess the airway and estimate the anaesthetic risk. The platform is integrated into a secure digital environment connected to the Electronic Health Record. ANESTECH improves hospital efficiency, reduces travel and promotes a more accessible and patient-centred healthcare model.

The PREVILI project, led by the UPV, aims to prevent ventilator-induced lung injury (VILI) in neonatal and paediatric patients. Through the analysis of mechanical biomarkers and artificial intelligence models, the aim is to optimise ventilation to reduce respiratory complications and improve safety in ICUs. With this study, it is hoped to minimise mortality and improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable patients.

The ‘Sandbox for Innovation in Ecosustainable Hospital Processes’ project aims to optimise the efficiency and sustainability of the healthcare system through process mining and artificial intelligence. It will develop a testing environment (sandbox) where companies will be able to test innovative solutions in hospitals. Led by INCLIVA in collaboration with the UPV, it aims to reduce the carbon footprint and improve value-based healthcare.

AVI PREDATICS – Development of a system based on advanced TICS for the prediction and health alerts for atmospheric pollution in the Valencian Community.

AUTOPLAN – Self-planner of activities of daily living based on energy expenditure and fatigue in people who present respiratory symptoms derived from respiratory, cardiac, oncological and post-COVID-19 pathologies, among others.

DIAL is a project to combat unwanted loneliness in the elderly by developing a friendly and innovative tool, based on multiplatform voice assistive technologies.

NuMielo II aims to develop a computer system through which protocols and guidelines for clinical action are applied with new methods of screening for malnutrition and psychological support
