The iNeoM project seeks to apply Big Data and Artificial Intelligence technologies in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) to improve clinical care, optimise resource management and facilitate decision-making through the analysis of individualised data. To this end, it proposes to develop software tools that integrate and organise data generated in different healthcare systems, generating algorithms and useful indicators presented through simple graphical interfaces and in real time. Based on a previous preparatory action (INBIO-2019), the project has a high potential for transfer to the healthcare system, especially in an environment such as the NICU, where intensive monitoring is key due to the complexity and variability of patients.
